Laufwerk
Das Laufwerk besteht aus 3 Motoren:
– Präzisionsantrieb der Kopfscheibe
– Direktantrieb der Capstanwelle und der Wickelteller
– Motor für die Cassettenschachtbewegung und das Ein-/Ausfädeln
des Bandes.
Besondere Merkmale sind:
– Quickstart
– Kurze Umspulzeit
– Automatische Reinigung der Videoköpfe durch Reinigungsrolle.
Um zuverlässige Reparaturen zu garantieren, wurde eine Anzahl von
Service Kits (A, B, C ...) entwickelt. Diese Kits enthalten alle wesent-
lichen Ersatzteile, die miteinander im Eingriff stehen.
Die angegebenen Positionsnummern (Pos. ...) sind auch in den
Explosionszeichnungen angegeben.

Drive Mechanism

The tape deck is fitted with three motors providing:
– Precision drive for the headwheel
– Direct drive for the capstan and the reels
– Drive for the cassette compartment and tape threading/unthreading
operations.
Special features are:
– Quick start
– Short winding time
– Automatic cleaning of video heads with a cleaning roller.
To obtain a high repair standard we have developed a range of service
kits (A, B, C ...). These kits cover all important spare parts which
engage with each other.
The position numbers (Pos. ...) in this description are also specified in
the exploded views.

1. Servicehinweise

Zu den Servicearbeiten am Laufwerk empfehlen wir zusätzlich den
Video-Lehrfilm, Sach-Nr. 72007-744.81.
Da die meisten Teile des Laufwerkes nur mit Schnapphaken befestigt
sind, werden im folgenden nur die wesentlichen Teile beschrieben. Mit
Schrauben sind nur befestigt:
– Cassettenschacht
– Scanner
– Capstanmotor
– Kombikopf.
Anmerkung:
Bei einer Änderung der Position des Cassettenschachtes (Lift) wäh-
rend der Reparatur muß dieser danach von Hand in die Position "Eject"
gebracht werden.
1.1 Absenken des Cassettenschachtes von Hand (ohne Cassette)
– Gerät vom Netz trennen.
– Arretierungen R (Fig. 1) und S (Fig. 2) des Cassettenschachtes
lösen und diesen dabei so weit nach innen schieben, bis sich der
Cassettenschacht leicht absenkt.
– Fädelmotor entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen (Fig. 3), bis der
Cassettenschacht abgesenkt ist.

1.2 Cassettenauswurf von Hand

Wenn nach dem Drücken der Eject-Taste das Laufwerk nicht ausfädelt
und die Cassette auswirft, kann dies auch von Hand durchgeführt
werden. Dazu ist das Antriebsrad des Fädelmotors zu drehen (Fig. 3).
Um Bandschlaufen zu vermeiden, muß wechselweise auch der Cap-
stanmotor (Pos. 127, Fig. 5) entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn bewegt
werden, bis das Band komplett in der Cassette aufgewickelt ist.

1. Service Instructions
When repairing the drive mechanism we recommend that the video
training film, part no. 72007-744.81.
Due to the fact that most of the components are secured with snap
hooks only the important parts will be described in the following. The
only parts fastened with screws:
– cassette compartment
– scanner
– capstan motor
– A/C (combi) head.
Advice:
When changing the position of the cassette compartment (lift) during
repairs, the compartment must be moved manually to the "Eject"
position on completion of the repairs.
1.1 Lowering the Cassette Compartment by Hand (without cass.)
– Disconnect the video recorder from the mains.
– Release the locks R (Fig. 1) and S (Fig. 2) of the cassette
compartment and move it inwards until the cassette compartment
lowers by a small amount.
– Turn the threading motor counterclockwise (Fig. 3) until the cassette
compartment is down.

1.2 Manual Ejection of the Cassette
If the tape deck does not unthread and eject the cassette by pressing
the Eject button this function can also be effected manually by turning
the driving gear at the threading motor (Fig 3). To avoid slackening of
the tape, turn the capstan motor (counterclockwise) (Pos. 127, Fig. 5)
and the driving gear alternately until the tape is completely wound up
in the cassette.
