Fresh air box ALB 125 EH and ALB 200 EH
MALFUNCTIONS
Failure
– no air / heavily reduced air performance
Filter
– activated by the heating safety cutout
Motor – doesn't run / no air
– vibrating, heavily unbalanced
– abnormal noise
– heavily reduced air performance
Heating – set temperature not reached
– no noticeable heat
Reason
– heavily polluted
– thermal contact activated by the motor
– heavy soiled of the impeller
– stiff bearings
– too high air flow temperature
– heavy soiled of the impeller
– stiff bearings
– duct resistances are bigger than planed
(e.g. grill, shutter, filter, etc.)
– direct sensor is damaged or incorrect setting
– incorrect connection
– intake air is too cold
– sensor position is impropper
– heating elements are damaged
– sensor is defective or incorrectly installed
– one of the overheating­thermostats operated – push the 'reset'button or replace the
– heating elements are damaged
Remedy
– cleaning the filter
– replacing the filter
– the unit has to be switched off until the motor
has cooled down (at least 15 minutes). Turn
the fan on again.
– clean impeller
– when bearing is damaged, replace the motor
­ reduce air temperature
– clean impeller
– when bearing is damaged, replace the motor
– increase duct size or replace show and
bends
– replac or reset
– check connection according to SS 795.4
– use external additional heating
– find out suitable position
– replace damaged heating elements
– replacing or install correctly
