Error during data transmission via BLE
If the error occurs during the data transmission from the BTDataKey to the con-
trol device (for example for a loss of BLE connection), the data transfer from
the payment system to the BTDataKey, instead, ended successfully. The data
present in the BTDataKey are not deleted, but they are available for transmis-
sion in the next connection. In this condition the BTDataKey cannot accept any
additional recording and it is enabled only to download the recording residing in
its memory on the control device.
La BTDataKey is available for new recordings only after downloading the data
and completing the previous operation. In this case proceed as follows:
•
remove and insert the BTDataKey again in the System (in CL mode) or press
the start button of the BTDataKey (in IR mode);
•
enable the CL data recording again from the app of the control device;
•
follow the instructions reported on the table from point 4.
Note: the firmware updates of the BTDataKey can be carried out exclusively by
means of the app installed in the control device.
Change Operator Code
The Operator Code is stored
encrypted inside the BTDataKey.
To change it, access the app of
the control device, enter the
function of operator code change,
select the Key to be configured by
pressing on its name in the list of
the active BLE devices, and enter
the Operator Code
stored in the Key's memory (as
default it is 00000000). The old
Operator Code has a password
function used to unlock the writ-
ing of the new Operator Code
(security function). Enter the new
Operator Code and confirm it by
repeating the introduction.
