and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the haz-
ards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user mainte-
nance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Pregnant women and youths

under 18 years old should
not use the scales for body
fat analysis (in such cases, an
exact body fat value cannot
be determined).
The scales measures your

proportion of body fat using
BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance
Analysis). To do this, a harm-
less signal is sent through your
body. Thus this scales should
not be used by persons with a
pacemaker or with any other
kind of operatively inserted
medical device.
When in doubt, consult your
physician.
Your product is designed with

complex algorithms. Due to
these algorithms, if an external
electromagnetic disturbance
happens near your device, it
may affect your readings. In
such cases, first remove the
electromagnetic disturbance
reason and repeat your meas-
urement. Under extreme elec-
tromagnetic disturbance, your
device will protect itself and
enter into protection mode. To
turn back to normal running
mode, remove and replace
the battery of the product after
removing the disturbance.
