Reset
MA17/1 can be reset via reset input (clamp 8). All
counter values will then be cancelled and the green
LED glows.
Resetting is made by connection to ground.

8. Trouble shooting
Error: MA17/1 does not react on encoder's rotation.
Possible reason:
• Voltage supply too low.
• Encoder wrongly connected or encoder having
wrong output stage.
Elimination:
• Check voltage supply.
• Check wiring.
• Compare MA17/1's and encoder's technical data
(indicated in ordering text and on identificaton
plate).
