Bathing
BABY born® can have a bath in the bathtub or be taken to the swimming pool for wading. However, she should not be immersed. Do not leave
Baby born unattended in direct sunlight for an extended period of time (max. 1 hour).
Please make sure before bathing that the screw cap on BABY born®'s back is closed (slot of the screw cap is in vertical position). For bathing, you
should only use cold or tepid water, and only utilize common bath additives suitable for children. BABY born® should not be left in bath, chlorine
or salt water for more than 3 hours as otherwise chemical reactions and bleaching may occur.
If water gets into the doll during bathing, you can dry BABY born® as follows: Use a screw driver or a coin to carefully unscrew the screw cap
(counter clockwise) on BABY born®'s back, and then pull it out a bit. It cannot be removed completely! The water can be removed by carefully
shaking the doll back and forth (with its back facing down). Repeat several times. If necessary, vent the doll with screw cap open for 2-3 hours to
get the residual moisture out of the doll. After drying, close the screw cap clockwise.
Important:
1. When playing in the bath tub, water may get into the tubes or tanks. BABY born®'s internal tube system must therefore be cleaned immediately
after bathing. Please see also „Cleaning BABY born®".
2. BABY born® is not suitable for use as a floatation device.
3. Do not use any cosmetics or skin care products.
Sleeping
BABY born® can close her eyes. As soon as you put the "magic" pacifier into BABY born®'s mouth, she will close her eyes and go to sleep. There is a
magnet installed in the pacifier that closes the doll's eyes, which likewise contain a magnet. The magnets are very weak. Please make sure that the
magnets are not swallowed or inhaled if one or more of them falls out, or if they are exposed by damage to the doll. If the magnets join inside the
human body, this may lead to serious injury and may necessitate immediate medical attention.
Cleaning BABY born®
If BABY born® gets dirty, she can be cleaned externally using a damp cloth. It is absolutely necessary to clean BABY born®'s internal tube system
right after bathing her. If you do not clean her, the remnants from the bathwater, chlorine water or salt water may block the tubing and tanks
inside the doll. If the doll is used over an extended period of time without cleaning, there is a danger of mould forming. To properly clean BABY
born®, fill the bottle up with warm water and mild dish detergent and insert the tip halfway into the doll's mouth, pointing downwards (if you
were to push the bottle straight back, the rinse water would go into the wrong tank). As soon as the bottle is empty, you should shake BABY born®
hard enough to loosen the remnants inside. Afterwards, press BABY born® firmly on the potty so that everything inside can empty out. Make sure
that the legs are bent so that the appropriate valve opens. Repeat this procedure multiple times, followed by at least two rinses with clear water.
Upon the final rinse, there should not be anything in the rinse water. Following the cleaning, leave BABY born® on the potty for about another 15
minutes to make sure that she is completely empty.

Beweeglijkheid
Door de gewrichten aan armen, benen en hoofd kan BABY born® alles bewegen.
IJs laten eten
BABY born® is dol op ijs! Voordat je de pop een ijsje kunt laten eten, moeten je ouders eerst ijswater maken. Dat kunnen ze doen door ijsblokjes
en een beetje koud water in een bakje te doen. Dompel nu het topje van het ijsje kort in het ijswater en geef de pop te eten. Net als een echte
baby, krijgt BABY born® nu een vies gezichtje. Om dat schoon te maken, maak je de meegeleverde sjaal nat met een beetje warm water en was je
voorzichtig haar gezichtje.
Informatie voor ouders: de kleurverandering wordt veroorzaakt door een warm-koudeffect. De kleur is zichtbaar bij een temperatuur van
ongeveer 10°C en lager. Het effect van de kleurwisseling is bij het begin van het spel niet altijd duidelijk zichtbaar. Let bij het spelen op de
hoeveelheid water.
Het effect is volledig zichtbaar als je er enkele minuten mee hebt gespeeld.
Eten en op het potje gaan
BABY born® kan echt brij eten. Vult u daarvoor het bijgevoegde brijschaaltje tot de markering met water (12 ml) en roert u de inhoud van
een zakje erin tot alle klontjes zijn opgelost en een echte brij is ontstaan. Na een poosje heeft de brij de juiste, relatief dunne consistentie en
BABY born® kan worden gevoerd. Bij het voeren moet BABY born® schuin op de arm worden gelegd en met de andere hand worden gevoerd.
Gebruikt u uitsluitend originele BABY born® brij omdat anders de slangetjes en reservoirs in de pop kunnen verstoppen. Vult u de brij nooit in
het flesje omdat dit dan in het verkeerde reservoir loopt en dit tot verstopping kan leiden. Als de poppenbrij op is, kunt u nieuwe kopen bij uw
speelgoedwinkel. De poppenbrij bestaat uit een combinatie van suiker en zetmeel en is bij menselijk gebruik niet schadelijk voor de gezondheid.
Let u op de houdbaarheidsdatum op de zakjes. Na het eten kan BABY born® op haar potje gaan. Kleedt u BABY born® uit, buigt u haar benen
en drukt u haar stevig op het potje. De brij verlaat het poppenlichaam van BABY born® alleen als haar benen zich in de juiste, gebogen positie
bevinden omdat alleen dan het ventiel van het reservoir voor het eten wordt geopend.
