INTENDED USE

This appliance is designed to fry foods, as detailed in these instructions and may only be used for this purpose. Please
observe all information contained in these operating instructions, particularly the safety instructions. Any other use is
considered unintended use and can result in property damage or even personal injury.

FIRST USE

1. Remove the appliance from the box
2. Clean the appliance (see "Cleaning and maintenance")

USING THE APPLIANCE

It is possible to use the fryer for frying small portions of food to the desired temperature.
1. Fill the fryer with approximately 1.3/1.5 litres of suitable oil. Do not use butter or margarine. Make sure the oil level is
between "min" and "max"
2. Close the lid.
3. Insert the plug into the socket. The power indicator should light.
4. Turn temperature control knob to the desired temperature. The indicator should turn on. This means that the unit is
raising the temperature. It automatically turns off when the oil reaches the desired temperature.
5. Food can now be inserted into the basket.
6. Use the handle of the basket to drop gently the basket in the fryer. Remove the handle and close the lid.
7. As soon as the food is ready open the lid with a quick but delicate movement to let escape the hot steam that has
formed inside.
8. Attach the handle and gently remove the basket from the pan. You can use this hook for hanging the basket on the
fryer and allow the oil in excess to drain inside the tray.
9. Remove the plug from the socket. The power indicator should switch off .
Caution: Remove any ice residues from the food that you are pouring into the basket.
