There are descriptions of the charging phases in the operating
and installation instructions of the charger that is used.
LED 4 Parallel switching battery I
When the BC (430, 630, 860) panel is used on chargers with
two outputs, e.g. the charger BC 630 IU, LED 4 will shine as
soon as the starter battery (battery I) is switched in parallel
with the supply battery (battery II) and is charged.
LED 5 Charger malfunction
The LED will shine if:
– the battery is not connected correctly to the charger.
– the charging is interrupted when the battery temperature
exceeds 50 °C (when a battery temperature sensor is used.

– the charging process is then interrupted due to the exces-
sive temperature of the charger.
– the charging current no longer flows (e.g. due to broken wire).

Maintenance

Clean the device with a dry and fluff-free cloth.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of in line with the administra-
tive regulations of the respective land in which it is used.
National regulations and laws (in Germany, for example,
the Altfahrzeug-Verordnung [old vehicle directive]) must be
observed.
