Inserting/Replacing the Battery

The battery compartment (3) is located at the side
of the spirit level behind the end cap.
1. Depress the latch of the battery compartment
lid and open the battery compartment.
2. Connect the battery clip with the contacts of a
new battery of the type 6LR61 (9 V, not includ-
ed) and insert it into the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment with the lid.
Note: Replace the battery if the display gets
weaker or if it shows incomprehensible results.

Using

Use the digital angle spirit level as a "regular" spirit level using the
vertical level tube (5) or the horizontal level tube (4). Or use the
device as precise digital angle meter as follows:
1. Briefly press the on/off key (9) to switch on the digital angle
metre. During a short self-test, all digits of the display are shown
at once.
2. Turn the locking knob (6) one turn
counter clockwise to release it. Posi-
tion the fold-out leg (1) and the base
leg (2) plane against the edges to be
measured. The displayed reading
corresponds with the internal angle
(max. 225°) between the base leg
and the fold-out leg. The reading is
indicated on the display until the legs
are moved in relation to each other.
Do not open the legs further than
225° to prevent damage to the measuring device.
