3) Entering the first program step:
In the normal RUN mode, select the output for which you want to enter a
program step, using the UP and DOWN keys.
Press ENTER; select the
DOWN keys (normally this is the first appearing menu); press ENTER; the
display indicates the number of steps used for this output (max. 50); normally
the first time the display should read

REMARK: The location of a program step may be important when the 'every
day(Ev)' instruction is used. Starting at the last entered step, execution moves
back towards the first entered step.
Example: You want a certain action ('on/off' or temperature setting) every day of
the week at 8 p.m., but on Sunday you want another setting at 8 p.m.: in this
case you must take care that first the every-day program step is entered and
only then the program step for Sunday.
