Operation

4.1.

Switching on

Connect to the mains voltage, following a successful system test
menu 0 System info appears in the display <39> and
the green LED <26> lights up, the control unit Pumpfix
Comfort is ready for operation.
4.2.

Acknowledging the alarm

Alarm message in normal operation
If a state occurs which triggers an alarm
(e.g. pump fault, level of the wastewater
reaches alarm level), this is indicated as follows:
- Alarm LED <27> lights up.
- If appropriate fault message on the display.
- Acoustic alarm.
The acoustic alarm can be switched off by pressing the key <28>
(approx. 1 second). After
elimination of the reason for the alarm, the alarm message
can be acknowledged by pressing the key <28> (for at least 5 seconds).
Alarm message in the event of a power outage
A power outage is detected by the control unit. The battery supply
of the control unit is used to trigger an optical alarm message and the
symbols in Figure [15] appear on the display. An acoustic alarm is sounded at the same time.
The symbols shown appear on the display.
If no operation is carried out on the control unit, the display is switched
off after one minute to save the battery. Pressing any key (approx. 1 second)
switches the display back on again.
The acoustic alarm can be switched off by pressing the key <28> (approx. 1 second).
4.3.

Maintenance

If the wording maintenance date appears on the display, carry out maintenance and then enter a new maintenance
date (see 5.2).
4.4.

Switching off

• Disconnect the mains supply, the acoustic alarm sounds and the alarm LED flashes.
• Switch off the acoustic alarm: Press key <28> (Fig. [14]) (approx. 1 second) until the alarm symbol appears
crossed out on the display.
• Switch the control unit off: Keep the key <28> pressed (at least 5 seconds) until the display and the alarm LED
are switched off and thus battery operation is ended.
The Pumpfix control unit is switched off.
