Safety Instructions for batteries:
• Incorrect polarity of the batteries can destroy the unit.
• Do not store batteries within reach of children, especially those that can be swallowed.
• Do not attempt to reactivate batteries by heating or similar measures.
• Primary batteries must not be charged as this can lead to electrolyte leakage, explosion or fire.
• Do not immerse batteries in water and store them in a dry and cool place, not in a damp place.
• Do not throw batteries into the fire, do not open them or solder or weld them yourself.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
Coding
The gong and bell button in this set have been encoded in the factory. If you would like to reset the
coding or add more gongs/bell buttons, proceed as follows:
Coding the gong and bell button:
Press the 'code' button. If the gong beeps, press the bell button within 5 seconds. If the gong
sounds, coding is successful. If the gong does not sound, press the bell button again until coding is
successful. To code several bell buttons, repeat the process outlined above.
Deleting coding:
Press and hold the 'code' button for around 10 seconds until the gong sounds. All coding is comple-
tely deleted.
Note: The coding between the gong and the bell button remains until you delete the coding as
described above. This is the case even if you remove the batteries.
Up to 6 gongs can be connected to one bell button.
Up to 6 bell buttons can be connected to one gong.
Note: If you connect several (max. 6) bell buttons to a gong, it is not possible to determine which bell
button is being pressed, as the chosen melody is saved on the gong and not on the bell button.

Remove the insulation strip in the battery compartment of the bell button and put the batteries in the
gong (for the battery type see 'Technical Data').
Volume setting / melody selection
Press the 'volume' / 'melody' button until you hear the correct volume/melody. Your selection is
automatically saved.
