Check the blade for wear and dam-
age.
Always have a blunt blade resharp-
ened by a specialist workshop, as an
imbalance check can be carried out
there.
Always have a specialist workshop
change a damaged or imbalanced
blade. Incorrect installation can result
in serious injury.
1. Erect the device (see "Sto-
rage"). Make sure the lawn
mower is secure!
2. Use firm gloves and keep hold
of the blade (43). Use a span-
ner (width across flats 17) to
turn the blade bolt (44) counter-
clockwise from the motor spind-
le.
3. Reassemble the new blade in
the reverse order. Make sure
that the blade is positioned cor-
rectly and that the bolt is tighte-
ned.
Once you have loosened the blade
bolt (44), the conical spring washer
(45) must be replaced.

Adjusting the Carburettor

The carburettor has been preset in the
factory for optimum performance. If read-
justments are required, have the adjust-
ments made by a specialist workshop.
