3.2 Connection to the
alarm control panel
First put the alarm control panel out of opera-
tion so that no alarm will be triggered. Then
connect the motion detector via the screw ter-
minals (7):

3.3 Settings and functional test
1) To trigger an alarm after a single motion
detection, place the jumper JP1 (8) on one
of the two pins only. To trigger an alarm
after two motion detections within 5 sec-
onds, place the jumper on both pins. Thus,
the probability of false alarm caused by
small objects will be reduced.
2) For a functional test, place the jumper
JP2 (9) on both pins so that the indicator
LED (1) will light up when motion is
detected. Close the cover of the motion
detector (hook in the cover at the top, then
close the cover until it locks at the bottom)
and switch on the power supply. After
approx. 40 seconds, the indicator LED will
stop flashing and the motion detector is
ready for operation.
3) Walk through the surveillance zone in dif-
ferent directions while observing the indi-
cator LED which will light up with each
motion detected.
4) After the functional test, place the jumper
JP 2 (9) on one of the two pins only so that

the indicator LED will not light up after
motion detection and any intruder will not
be able to spy out the detector range when
the alarm control panel is disarmed.
5) Finally, make a functional test when the
alarm control panel is armed.
