Recommendations on the power tool
operation
Cutting depth setting (see fig. 5-6)
Before starting the operation, adjust sawing depth de-
pending on the work piece thickness The best cutting
edge quality is achieved when the projected part of
saw blade 3 does not exceed tooth height
• Loosen fixing lever 20 (see fig. 5-6).
• Set required cutting depth on scale 19, lifting or
lowering the power tool body
• Tighten fixing lever 20
Cutting angle setting (see fig. 7)
The power tool enables smooth cutting angle
adjustment within 0°- 45° range
• Loosen two fixing screws 10 (see fig. 7).
• Set required cutting angle on scale 8, changing
power tool body inclination angle
• Tighten two fixing screws 10
Remember that during inclined cutting
the cutting depth shown on scale 19
does not correspond with actual values.
Cutting marks (see fig. 8-9)
• Cutting mark 14 shows saw blade 3 position during
vertical cutting (see fig. 8).
• Cutting mark 15 shows saw blade 3 position during
cutting at 45° angle (see fig. 9).
Make trial sawing to avoid errors.
Sawing (see fig. 10)
The efficiency and the quality of cutting
operations depends on the state and the
form of saw blade 3 teeth, therefore prop-
er selection of saw blade is extremely
important depending on the material being pro-
cessed and the type of works being performed.
• Make sure that the work piece is safely fixed face
down, because the quality of bottom cutting edge is
always better
• Switch on the power tool before saw blade 3 touch-
es the work piece Let saw blade 3 gain maximal rotat-
ing speed
• Smoothly move the power tool forward without
bending or pushing
• Never press the tool - sawing requires certain time
Extra pressure will overload the power tool rather than
facilitate the operation
• Use additional supports when cutting large sheets
(chipboards, etc) to avoid bending and possible saw
blade 3 blocking (see fig. 10).
The manufacturer reserves the possibility to introduce changes.
Cutting with parallel guide (see fig. 11-12)
Parallel guide 21 enables cutting along existing direct
work piece edge, and producing equally wide stripes
• Loosen fixing screw 9 of parallel guide 21 (see
fig. 11).
• Move parallel guide 21 to set a required work piece
width
• Tighten fixing screw 9 of parallel guide 21
Similar results can be reached by attach-
ing a board to a work part with screw
clamps and using such board as a sec-
ondary limit stop. Perform sawing by
moving power tool along the limit stop while
pressing the side of base plate 13 to the side of the
board (see fig. 12).
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean Regularly
flush the power tool with compressed air thought the
ventilation slots 16
After-sales service and application service
Our after-sales service responds to your questions con-
cerning maintenance and repair of your product as well
as spare parts Information about service centers,
parts diagrams and information about spare parts can
also be found under: www.crown-tools.com
Transportation of the power tools
• Categorically not to drop any mechanical impact on
the packaging during transport
• When unloading / loading is not allowed to use any
kind of technology that works on the principle of clamp-
ing packaging

Environmental protection

Recycle raw materials instead of dispos-
ing as waste.
Power tool, accessories and packaging
should be sorted for environment-friendly
recycling
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling
These instructions are printed on recycled paper man-
ufactured without chlorine
