sioned by a qualified professional electrician.

2.3 Foreseeable misuse

Non-observance of required protection class
The use of cable reels and extension cables with a lower protection class than that required at
the site of installation.
► Only use cable reels and extension cables with a protection class which corresponds to the
operation site.

2.4 Residual risks

Death or risk of injury caused by fire
Starting of a fire due to electric shock.
► Ensure that cable reels and extension cables are not operated in the event of moisture or in
direct proximity to solvents, fuels or combustible gases.
► Do not cover cable reels with any other objects.
Death or risk of injury from electric shock
If used improperly, there is a risk of death or injury from electric shock.
► Cable reels must not be connected in series for the safe functioning of the safety equip-
ment.
► Pull on the plug, not the mains cable, when disconnecting from the socket.
