Cleaning and Maintenance

The machine must not be connected to the power supply during service and cleaning.
Always clean the machine after use. If the machine is left with dirty water there is a risk that bacteria may be
formed in the rotting water. Dried up sludge on the impeller of the submersible pump may furthermore damage
the pump when it is subsequently started.
The easiest way to clean the machine is as follows:
Let the machine suck up and pump on clean water for some minutes so that possible sludge and
impurities on the impeller of the submersible pump and in the collection container will be washed away.
Remove the motor top and adapter ring by loosening the two locking clips of the liquid container.
Take the collection bag out and wash away particles and other impurities with clean water.
Lay down the machine so that the container coupling is up, and rinse the liquid container with large
quantities of clean water. The trolley frame is designed so that the water will automatically run out of the
liquid container.
Maintenance of the Motor Top
The motor top is made of maintenance-free parts and needs therefore no daily maintenance, apart from external
cleaning and check that the cords and plugs are undamaged.
The easiest way to clean the motor top is with a damp cloth. Do not aim jets of water directly at the motor top.
In order to avoid stop in operation it is recommended that the electrical parts are inspected annually by an
authorized technician.
It is recommended to have an authorized service center inspect the brushes of the suction motor after approx.
800 working hours, and if necessary replace them. In this way the life of the suction motor is prolonged.
Disposal of Collection Bags and Sludge
Disposal of sludge and used collection bags must be done according to the national regulations.
NEVER pour dirty water / sludge into the sewer.
