Spark Arrester Cleaning Service

Clean spark arrester every 50 hours of operation.
WARNING
Engines can become extremely hot during normal
operation. Hot engine components can cause severe
burns. Stop the engine and allow it to cool before
servicing spark arrester.

These items must be performed with proper tools.

Cutter Blades Lubrication Service

WARNING
Hot engine parts can cause severe burns.
Allow engine to stop, and cool before lubricating cutter
blades.
WARNING
Cutter blades can cause severe injury.
Wear gloves to protect hands when handling cutter
blades.

Remove the spark arrester
from the exhaust hole of
muffler.
●
Clean deposits from the spark
arrester screen by brushing it.
●
Install the spark arrester.
●
Clean and lubricate the cutter
blades at each refueling.
Disconnect the spark plug cap
from the spark plug.
●
Clean the surface of cutter
blades, and apply a few drops
of machine oil to them on each
refuelling.

Gear Case Lubrication Service

Lubricate the gear case every 20 hours.
