Placing and replacing of rechargeable battery
The battery is not fixed integrated but connected with cable and plug (red) to the
electronic box. This gives you several advantages:
1. defective batteries can easily be replaced
2. on tours the empty batteries can be replaced by recharged exchange batteries
3. alternatively, more powerful batteries can be used.
The high quality Litium-Ionen/Polymer battery is very small and light and can easily
be put between or under the padding. Never put batteries directly onto your skin!
Please mind the following savety advices:
Only use AKE-approved original batteries and charger provided by AKE.
Never connect the charger if the battery is not connected to the electronic box.
Without a battery or with a wrong battery, the equipment might get damaged!
Never wear the helmet with the installed battery
The battery has to be protected against too much heat and should never be
bent or damaged. (Risk of fire or explosion!) The battery should be replaced
