Mechanical connection of the flash head cable

• Before connecting the flash head cable to the flash
socket of a power pack, turn the lamp switches of the
power pack off and switch the power pack to stand-by. If
this is not possible, turn the power pack off.
• Make sure that cables, plugs and connectors are not
damaged in any way.
As a general rule, plugs must only be changed while
Porty power packs are turned off.
RF 3000P/PM-XS
The RF 3000P/PM-XS flash head cable has a round
socket and is easily plugged into one of the two lamp
sockets of the Porty power pack.
RF 3000-XS
The RF 3000-XS flash head cable has a 20-pole socket
that goes into the lamp socket of all other Hensel power
packs (except Porty) and is to be fastened by a
mechanical lock.
Put in the male plug, slightly bent to the front, then push it
with the rear part firmly into the locking mechanism. To
disconnect the plug, move tax back-wards and pull plug
out starting from the rear. Flash plugs of Hensel power
packs (except Porty) have the „plugmatic" safety system.
This enables switching plugs without any danger. This
safety mechanism turns the trigger voltage for the flash
tube on only after the plug is completely in place.
However, plugs should only be changed while Hensel
power packs are turned off.
