Troubleshooting Guidelines
No Sound
•
Ensure the battery is inserted and the battery
compartment door is fully closed.
•
Replace the battery.
•
Ensure there is no wax or debris in the sound tube or ear
dome. If needed, clean according to the instructions
on page 12.
Not Loud Enough
•
Replace the battery.
•
Ensure there is no wax or debris in the sound tube or ear
dome. If needed, clean according to the instructions
on page 12.
•
Ensure the hearing aid is properly positioned behind the
ear and the ear dome is inserted into the ear canal.
•
Excessive earwax can prevent sound from entering the
ear. Contact your physician.
•
Changes in your hearing loss can affect how you hear with a
hearing aid. Contact your GOhear Hearing Care Professional
if you suspect any change in your hearing status.
Whistling/Feedback
•
Ensure the hearing aid is properly positioned behind the
ear and the ear dome is inserted into the ear canal.
•
Excessive earwax and sound tubes that are not the
proper size can cause whistling. Contact your GOhear
Hearing Care Professional.

Sound is Distorted or Unclear
•
Replace the battery.
•
Your hearing aid may have poor battery contact.
Return the hearing aid to your GOhear Hearing
Care Professional.
Intermittent Sound
•
Replace the battery.
•
Ensure there is no wax or debris in the sound tube or ear
dome. If needed, clean according to the instructions on
page 12.

Static Noise
•
Replace the battery.
•
If you are near an electromagnetic field (i.e. near a
computer screen or fluorescent lights), step away to see if
the noise clears.
•
Your hearing aid may have poor battery contact.
