DRAINAGE INSTRUCTIONS
(see page 5)
1. WATER TANK
• When not using the water hose, the water will drain into
the tank at the rear of the unit. As soon as the tank is full,
the light
(f) will illuminate in red and the compressor
will shut off automatically, the unit will enter stand-by mode.
The tank should be emptied (fig. 2) and replaced (fig. 3)
and then the unit will restart automatically.
• If the control lamp
(f) does not go off, pull the water tank (6)
out again (fig. 1).
8
• Check that the swimmer (8) is correctly installed. The swimmer
must not be removed, because otherwise the automatic
interruption of the dehumidifying operation is not guaranteed.
Overflowing water can damage objects and floor coverings
or cause an electric shock.
Note: To prevent compressor from breaking down due to interrupted
starting, Please refrain from repeated removal and reinsertion
of the water tank.
2. CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE
• To use the continuous drainage function, remove the water
tank (fig. 1) and attach the water hose (9) to the drainage
hole (7) as shown in diagram (fig. 4). Ensure a tight fit to avoid
water leaks. Replace the water tank as per diagram (fig. 5-6).
• Do not drain water continuously if there is a possibility that
temperature around the hose could drop to freezing point.
Water inside the hose may freeze and prevent the water
in the drainage tank from flowing out. The water may leak
from the unit and damage surrounding objects.
• When using the unit after it has been stored for a long period
of time or when draining water continuously for a long time
with no assistance, check the unit periodically for foreign objects,
,
etc, that could clog the pipes resulting in heat generation and/
or a water leakage.
Note: when using the continuous drain feature, make sure the drain
tube is laid flat horizontally and fastened in place; avoid overlapping
or depressing, and make sure it lays lower than the drain hole.

strength detergent.

is clear of obstructions. If continuous drainage is used, check
outlet hoses are free of kinks and obstructions.
