Operating the Crane Car

General Information

The cars in the crane car set can be run on curved track with a minimum
radius of 600 mm (23-5/8"). They are suitable for operation on two-rail
track with a gauge of 45 mm (1-3/4").
The crane car is designed for digital operation. All of the special fun-
tions for the crane car can be operated only in conjunction with the
Märklin 6021 digital controller (not included with the crane car set). The
configuration switch (dip switch) no. 2 on the controller must be set at
"ON".
All locomotives and cars with digital functions make use of an simple
digital address that is used to control the models and functions sepa-
rately. Information on setting this address can be found on the follow-
ing pages.
