2. Safety Instructions
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not
accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Risk of shock – do not open the back cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Removing the back panel voids
the warranty.
• Have your monitor serviced by qualified service personnel only.
• Burn hazard! Do not place hands, face or objects close to the vent-holes of the monitor. The top of the monitor gets very
hot from the air that is exhausted through the vent-holes.
• Disconnect all cables before moving your monitor and prior maintenance activities. Damage, electric shocks or fire may
occur when moving the monitor with its cables attached. Clean the monitor using a slightly damp cloth. Avoid any liquid,
abrasive detergents and aerosols.
• Do not expose the monitor to rain and moisture.
• Keep your monitor away from excessive dust, high temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Use the monitor in a well-ventilated area and do not cover the vent-holes.
• Do not modify the monitor and avoid using unshielded cables.
• Disconnect the monitor from the mains when not in use.
• Turn off the monitor and disconnect from the mains when experiencing problems. Check all connections.
• Never place the monitor on an unstable cart, stand or table. Install the monitor on a flat and sturdy surface.
• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
