BATTERY REPLACEMENT – When the "battery low" icon is on, the battery should be replaced as soon as practical. The cable testing results will become unreliable when the battery reaches about 4.5 volts. - Seite 20 DESCRIPTIF Le LinkMaster™ Pro se met sous tension et démarre un essai automatiquement dès qu’une télécon- nexion est fixée au jack de câble à distance. Si aucune téléconnexion n’est utilisée, il suffit d’appuyer sur l’un quelconque des quatre boutons pour mettre l’appareil sous tension. Au bout de quelques secondes, il se met automatiquement hors tension une fois que la téléconnexion est débranchée.

PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG Der LinkMaster™ Pro schaltet sich beim Anschluss eines Remote an die Remote-Buchse automatisch an und beginnt mit dem Leitungstest. Wenn kein Remote verwendet wird, können Sie den Tester durch Drücken einer der vier Tasten in Betrieb nehmen. Wenige Sekunden, nachdem das Remote vom Tester getrennt wird, schaltet sich der Tester automatisch wieder ab. - Seite 30 Length – Dieser Modus misst die Kapazität und berechnet dann die Kabellänge anhand des Kapazitätsbelages (Längenkonstante). Die ermittelte Länge wird zusammen mit dem aktuellen Wert der Längenkonstante auf dem LCD-Display angezeigt. Mit der SEL-Taste wechseln Sie in der Reihenfolge 1-2, 3-6, 4-5, 7-8 bzw. in einer vom Tester automatisch festgelegten Sequenz (Auto-Select) zwischen den zu messenden Adernpaaren.

BEDIENUNGSHINWEISE Testen eines Patchkabels 1) Verbinden Sie ein Ende des Patchkabels mit der Hauptbuchse (Main) des Testers. 2) Schließen Sie das andere Ende des Kabels an ein Remote oder an die Remote-Buchse des Testers an. 3) Jetzt schaltet sich der LinkMaster™ Pro automatisch ein und zeigt durch Einblenden des TEST- Symbols an, dass ein Test ausgeführt wird. - Seite 32 Längenmessung 1) Schließen Sie das Kabel an den Tester an. (Am anderen Ende des Kabels kann ein Remote angeschlossen sein. Dies ist aber nicht erforderlich.) 2) Schalten Sie den Tester durch Drücken einer beliebigen Taste ein. Falls der Längen-Modus noch nicht aktiviert ist, betätigen Sie solange die MODE-Taste, bis LENGTH angezeigt wird und drücken dann die SEL-Taste.
