Safety regulations

Protect yourself and the environment by taking suitable precautions to prevent accidents.
Pneumatic tools should only be operated by trained personnel; keep away from children.
The specified maximum working pressure should not be exceeded.
Always conduct your work in a relaxed and focused manner.
Wear the necessary protective clothing when working.
It is imperative hearing protection and safety goggles are worn.
Only use prepared compressed air in accordance with the recommendations.
Before rectifying any faults on the tool, disconnect it from the compressed air source; only then should you replace
parts if required.
When using a spring balancer or any other auxiliary equipment, make sure that all components are tight and secure.
Keep your hands away from the attachments during use (needles, chisels or cane holders).
Pneumatic tools do not feature PROTECTIVE INSULATION, i.e. make sure you avoid all body contact with earthed sur-
faces such as heaters, etc.
Exercise caution when working with flammable materials, as there is a risk of explosion and sparking can occur.
The safety inspector must be consulted regarding a possible risk assessment before any copper/beryllium needles are
used in potentially explosive areas.
Do not adopt an abnormal body posture, ensure your footing is secure and maintain your balance at all times.
Only use original spare parts, no improvisations. Any damaged safety devices and components must be repaired or
replaced by the customer service department. Use of tools or accessories other than those specified in this manual can
result in personal injury.
The air inlet lever (valve lever) should not be blocked (e.g. by insulating tape, string or cable). The valve lever should
always be free to move to its home position.
The compressed air hose and coupling must be checked on a regular basis.
Do not carry any tools that are connected to the compressed air supply while your finger is on the switch.
Do not wear any loose clothing or jewellery, as this can become trapped in moving parts. Safety gloves and sturdy,
non-slip shoes are recommended when working outdoors. A hair net should be worn if you have long hair.
Safety devices should not be removed.
Make sure that the exhaust air does not affect other people.
Safety goggles and face masks are to be worn when working in dusty areas or areas in which dust is generated (wor-
king with paint, asbestos, etc.).
