Information about the pantographs powered by a motor:
G Suitable mode of operation:
Only Märklin Digital with the 6021 Control-Unit.
G In principle, it is not possible to run the locomotives
with voltage supplied through the pantographs.
G Before running the loco-
motive for the first time:
Unclip the pantographs
(safeguard for transport).
G Before packing or storing
the locomotive:
1. Raise the pantographs.
2. Manually press the
pantographs down
and clip into place
(safeguard for
transport).

G The pantographs cannot be moved until approx.
5 seconds after each time the system is switched
on. After the pantographs have been moved,
at least 3 seconds should be allowed to elapse
before the system is switched off.
G Function on: Pantograph goes up.
Function off: Pantograph comes down.
G f2: Pantograph above driver's cab 1 (front).
f3: Pantograph above driver's cab 2 (rear).
G When operating together with Märklin Delta or with
an old Märklin Central-Unit (e.g. Central-Unit 6020,
Central-Control 6022 or Central-Control I 6023),
the pantographs should always remain engaged
in the lower position.
G When removing the housing, it is advisable to
disengage the pantographs.
G If the pantographs do not automatically spring into
the upper position after being disengaged, then
the locomotive housing should be disconnected
and raised until the pantographs automatically
