Carry out the following steps after each time you use the device:
1. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
2. Unscrew the paint container (7) and empty it.
3. Pour the thinner which you used to mix up the coating material into the paint container
(7) and screw it back onto the paint spray gun.
4. Insert the mains plug into the plug socket.
5. Press the spray trigger (4) for a few seconds to clean the spray nozzle (8).
6. Then remove the mains plug from the plug socket again.
8. Undo the locking screw (10) and remove the spray nozzle (8) and the air cap (9).
9. Clean the paint container (7), the paint intake pipe, the spray nozzles (8), the air cap (9)
and the locking screw (10) as well as all parts of the spray unit (12) on which there may be
coating material residues with the aid of the thinner which you used to mix up the coating
material. Also clean the viscosity measuring cup. NOTE: Coating materials containing
solvents cannot be removed with water, but only with the appropriate solvent.
Make sure that the paint does not come into contact with delicate surfaces.
10. Let all parts dry completely in the air before you reassemble the device.
11. Clean the base unit (3) with a soft brush or a slightly damp clean cloth. No liquids
must get inside the base unit.
16. Once all parts are completely dry, reassemble the device.
17. Once all parts have dried completely, store the device away in a dry place which is
out of the sun and is also out of the reach of children and animals.

7. Detach the base unit (3) from the spray
unit (12) by holding down the release
button (1) and pulling the spray unit off
the base unit.
12. Open the air fi lter compartment (2) by
fl ipping it open.
13. Remove the air fi lter and give it a tap if
necessary. Clean the air fi lter with clear
water if necessary and then leave it to
dry completely in the air.
14. Insert the air fi lter back into the air fi lter
compartment when it is completely dry.
15. Close the air fi lter compartment.
