8. To adjust the paint jet which is selected under point 7, proceed as follows:
– Undo the locking screw (10) a little without twisting it off completely!
– Screw the locking screw (10) tight again.
10. Connect the device to a properly installed plug socket.
11. Your paint spray gun is now ready to be used: Direct the spray gun onto a test area
or a piece of cardboard before you start working on the actual area you want to work
on with the device and press the spray trigger (4) until paint emerges. When you start
using the gun with a newly fi lled paint container, it takes a few seconds for the device
to pump paint from the container and deliver it through the spray nozzle. Let go of
the spray trigger when you want to stop the supply of paint. Also note the instructions
provided in the next "Use - Applying Paint" chapter.

Use - Applying Paint

CAUTION!
Carefully read through the "Preparing Coating Materials" and "Putting into Operation"
chapters and note all of the instructions before you start working with the device.
1. Prepare the coating material (see the "Preparing Coating Materials" chapter).
2. Perform the steps in the "Putting into Operation" chapter.
3. Direct the spray gun on a test area or a piece of cardboard before you start working
on the actual area you want to work on with the device. Press the spray trigger
(4) until paint emerges. Let go of the spray trigger to stop the supply of paint. If
necessary, regulate the amount of paint using the adjusting screw for regulating the
amount of paint (3). With smaller areas, it is advisable to apply a smaller amount of
paint so that the layer of coating material applied does not become too thick. Adjust
the amount of paint so that the paint is distributed evenly and there is not a thin jet of
paint which will result in spotting.

– The spray setting selector (11) can be found on top of
the paint spray gun. Turn the air cap (9) until the arrow
marked on the air cap is aligned with the arrow of the
spray setting selection that you want. Please be very
careful to make sure you do not accidentally press
the spray trigger while making the setting!
9. Use the adjusting screw for regulating the amount of paint
(3) to set the amount of paint that you want to spray. Turn
the screw towards the - marking to reduce the amount of
paint or towards the + marking to increase the amount of
paint. Please be very careful to make sure you do not
accidentally press the spray trigger while making the
setting!
