Remote start of a vehicle engine
Attention !
Do not use the device while it is connected to
¾
the charger!
Always charge the device completely prior to
¾
use, since the internal battery can otherwise be
damaged.
Note
Charge the device for 24 hours before
using it for the first time!

Switch off the vehicle ignition. Remove the ignition key.
▸
Check whether the operating switch [3] is set
to "0".
▸
First, connect the red positive terminal to the posi-
tive terminal of the vehicle battery.
▸
Then connect the black clamp to a suitable earth-
ing point on the vehicle body.
Note
Optionally, you can connect the black
terminal also to the negative terminal of
the vehicle battery.
Attention !
If the terminals are incorrectly connected, an
¾
alarm [5] will sound. In this case, do not switch
on the device. It could cause serious damage
to the device or the vehicle. As soon as the
terminals are connected correctly, the alarm will
fall silent.
Attention !
Only for WPS 1224-700 and 1224-900:
Check the on-board voltage using the
¾
display [6].
Ensure that the operating switch [3] is set to the
¾
"0" position.
When the displayed value is larger than 15 V,
then an on-board voltage of 24 V is present.
When the value is smaller than 15 V, check the
on-board voltage according to the manufacturer
information.

Turn the operating switch [3] to 12V" or "24V" (on
WPS 1224-700 and WPS 1224-900 depending
on on-board voltage).
The device is switched on.

Start the vehicle engine.
If the engine does not start within
3-8 seconds, stop the start-up procedure.
Wait at least 1 minute and try again.
During this time the device can cool off.
▸
Turn the operating switch to "0".
The device is switched off.

First, remove the black clamp from the ground
point of the vehicle, then the red clamp.
▸
Charge the Power Start permanently when not in
use.

Use of another charger or using the
charger for other purposes is not
allowed!
Injuries and property damages

Only use the charger provided

with the Power Start to charge the
device.
Attention !
Do not use the device while it is connected to

the charger!
Switch off the device on the operating

switch [3] ("0"), before connecting the charger.
Charge the device permanently when not in use.
