If repair is performed at your home, the costs for the journey time and for the vehicle
shall be invoiced to you after the end of the first year of the warranty period.

WARRANTY - AUSTRIA

This warranty certificate is only valid in connection with a fully settled invoice. Austria
Email AG (hereinafter called AE) provides warranty for this appliance according to the fol-
lowing terms and conditions as prescribed by law. The warranty applies in the Republic
of Austria only.
1. Warranty services rendered by AE require that the claimant provides the settled invoi-
ce for the purchase of the appliance for which warranty is claimed. The identity of the
appliance regarding type and serial number must be evident from the invoice and be
proven by the claimant.
2. The assembly, mounting, connection and initial operation of the rejected appliance
must – insofar as prescribed by law or the installation and operation instructions –
have been carried out by a franchised, licensed electrician in observance of all appli-
cable regulations.
3. The following do not entitle the customer to a warranty claim:
Normal wear and tear
damage of any kind caused willfully or by negligence
mechanical damage or damage caused by frost or by exceeding – even only once –
the operating pressure stated on the rating plate
use of a connection set that does not conform to O-Norm B8133 or use of a not func-
tioning tank connection set or of unsuitable and not functioning service fittings
broken glass and plastic parts
possible color variations
damage caused by improper use, in particular by non-observance of the installation
and operating instructions
damage due to extraneous causes
connection to incorrect voltage
dry operation
calcification
lightning stroke
voltage surges
corrosion damage as a result of aggressive, non-potable water
intrusion of foreign objects or electrochemical influences, delayed renewal of the built-
in protective anode of the hot water tank as well as such deviations from the norm
that only insignificantly reduce the value or the operability of the appliance.
4. Legitimate complaints must be reported to the nearest customer service location of
AE. AE reserves the right to decide whether a faulty part shall be replaced or repaired,
or whether a faulty appliance shall be exchanged with an equivalent, faultless applian-
ce. Moreover, AE reserves the right to demand that the customer send in the rejected
appliance.
5. Warranty repairs may only be carried out by persons who have been authorized to do
so by AE. Replaced parts become the property of AE.
