Met de Humidity Control II bent u in het bezit van de nieuwste generatie
digitale hygrostaten. U kunt op deze hygrostaat alle gangbare luchtbe-
vochtiger aansluiten met een totaalvermogen van maximaal 1000W. Het
apparaat beschikt over een realtime-klok en over twee circuits zodat
verschillende waarden voor dag en nacht kunnen worden ingesteld.
De overschakeling tussen dag- en nachtgebruik is tijdgestuurd. Een
alarmfunctie waarschuwt zowel optisch als akoestisch indien de lucht-
vochtigheid de in te stellen waarde overschrijdt respectievelijk onder
deze waarde blijft. Bovendien kunt u extra apparatuur zoals verlichting
of ventilatoren met de timer aansturen. Het permanente luchtvochtig-
heiddisplay en het kleine formaat maken een gebruik als hygrometer
mogelijk.
Gebruiksvoorwaarden
• Het apparaat mag alleen aan een net met 230V / 50/60Hz wisselspan-
ning worden aangesloten.
• De positie van het apparaat tijdens het gebruik is naar believen. Het
apparaat zal echter zodanig moeten worden geplaatst dat het niet in
het water kan vallen!
• De toegestane omgevingstemperatuur mag tijdens het gebruik niet
lager dan 0°C respectievelijk niet hoger dan 60°C zijn.
• Het apparaat is gemaakt voor het gebruik in droge en schone ruimtes.
• Bij vorming van condenswater moet een acclimatiseringtijd tot aan 2
uur worden afgewacht.
Juist gebruik
Het apparaat is bedoeld voor het gebruik met in de handel gebruikelijke
bevochtigingssystemen ter regeling van de luchtvochtigheid in drukloze
containers (bijv. aquariums, terraria) of ruimtes. Een ander gebruik dan
hier beschreven, is niet toegestaan!

Installatie
Plaats de vochtigheidssensor op een geschikte plaats in het terrarium.
Voor een correct meetresultaat mag de vochtigheidssensor niet direct
worden geraakt door waternevel.
Installeer het apparaat dusdanig dat u het display goed kunt controle-
ren. Plug de aan te sturen apparaten in het desbetreffende regelaar-
stopcontact; luchtbevochtiger in I en van de timer aan te sturen appa-
raten in II. Stop de netadapter in een juist geïnstalleerd stopcontact.
U kunt nu overeenkomstig de volgende handleiding de desgewenste
instellingen maken.
Instelling van de apparaatfuncties:
Houd de SET-toets langer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt om het menu voor
het instellen van het apparaat te openen. Er zijn 12 te kiezen menu's
van F01 tot F12. Schakel met behulp van de pijltjestoetsen tussen de
functies en druk SET om het menu te openen. Met de pijltjestoetsen kunt
u wijzigingen aanbrengen. Met ENT slaat u de waarden voor het desbe-
treffende menu op. Houd de ENT-toets langer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt
om de apparaatinstellingen te verlaten. Het apparaat werkt nu met de
nieuwe instellingen.
Details betreffende de afzonderlijke functies kunt u uit de volgende ta-
bel opmaken. Let erop dat u bij het instellen van de tijd door middel van
het drukken van de SET-toets kunt schakelen van minuut tot uur.

Actuele tijd
Day/Night Mode:
The humidity control will switch between Day and Night mode depending
on the time and use the corresponding humidity settings. F06 is setting
for daytime and F07 for night. F06 must be smaller than F07.
Humidifying/De-humidifying
With F05 the device can be switched between Humidifying and De-Hu-
midifying Mode! In Humidifying mode the device will be operated until
the desired humidity is reached. In De-Humidifying mode the device will
be switched on as soon as the humidity is above the setting and only
switched off if the humidity decreases below the setting again. Use this
mode for fans.
Alarm Function:
You can set an alarm function, which will warn you if a certain deviation
from the humidity setting is reached. The deviation can be set from 0 to
50. Choosing 0 will shut off the alarm function. If the deviation is set to 5
and the desired humidity is 75%, the alarm will start at 80% and below
70%. In case of alarm there is a warning sound and the display flashes.
Timer:
The device has a real-time clock with timer. You can set two ON and two
OFF times (in minutes) which will allow controlling devices, e.g. lighting
plugged into coupling II by time. Set the respective menus (F08 to F11)
to the desired time or to 00:00 if you do not want to use the timer. Make
sure that the settings are not contradictory, e.g. the setting for F10 must
not lie between F08 and F09.
Mode of Operation:
The humidity control turns the humidifier on until the set humidity is re-
ached and then turns it off. It will turn on again if the measured humidity
is below the difference of the humidity setting and the value set at F03.
Display and Showing the settings:
If a red lamp is lighting above WORK the device is on. If a lamp is lighting
above SET the device is in settings mode.
With the arrow key up you can display the daytime humidity setting.
Down key will show the nighttime setting.ENT will show the actual time.
All other settings can only be viewed in settings mode.
Important Information:
• The device saves settings in case of power loss for about 48 hours.
• In case of sensor error an alarm will sound and the display will show
EEE. Contact your dealer.
• Do not undertake any modification and do not open the case.
• Device and sensor cords have to be checked always for signs of dama-
ge. If a defect is discovered the device has to be put out of operation
immediately. The same applies if the device has come into contact with
fluids.
• Generally it should be verified if the device is applicable for the appli-
cation at hand before putting it into operation!
• In case of doubt consultation of experts or the manufacturer of the
employed devices is required.
• In order to avoid animal losses regular checks of the humidity are
required. Claims for losses due to malfunction of the controller cannot
be accepted

Warranty

The warranty expires in case of modification and repair attempts as well
as damaging by force or inappropriate usage.
A manufacturer warranty of 2 years is granted on this device. Repair,
amendments or exchange for a replacement are at the manufacturer's
discretion.
Neither a guarantee nor any liabilities for detriments or consequential
damages in relation with this product will be assumed.
In case of warranty claims or repairs contact your specialist dealer.
