With the Humidity Control II you have purchased a digital humidity con-
trolling device of the newest generation which can control all common
vivarium humidifiers with a maximum load of 1000W. The device has a
real-time clock and two circuits, so that you can make different settings
for day and night. The switching between day and night mode is reali-
zed by time. An alarm function warns optically and acoustically if the
device measures a humidity that is either higher or lower than the set
humidity. In addition the device has a timer which allows you to time
control additional devices like lighting or ventilators. The continuous
humidity display and the small size of the humidity control allow ita use
as additional hygrometer.
Operating conditions
• The device may only be operated at 230V / 50/60Hz AC Voltage
• The device may be operated in any position, but it has to be ensured
that it is impossible for it to fall into water.
• The ambient temperature limit during operation may not fall below
and exceed 0°C and 60°C respectively.
• The device is designed for use in dry and clean rooms.
• At formation of condensed water a period of acclimatisation of up to
2h has to be ensured.
• Protect the device from moisture, spray water and impact of heat!
Designated Usage
In accordance with regulations the usage of this device is allowed with
humidification systems for humidity control customary in trade in va-
cuum containers (e. g. aquaria, terrariums) or rooms. Other forms of
operation as mentioned above are not allowed.

Manual
Installation:
Install the humidity sensor at a suitable place inside the terrarium. In
order to get correct measurement results the humidity sensor may not
come in direct contact with water mist.
Position the humidity control in way you can easily control the displayed
humidity all the time. Plug in the devices you want to have controlled
into the receptacles of the device. Humidifiers in I and timer controlled
devices (e.g. lighting) in II. Connect the AC Adaptor to properly installed
socket. You can now do the desired settings as to the following instruc-
tions.
Setting the Functions
Press the SET button for more than 3 seconds to open the settings menu.
There are 12 available menus from F01 to F12. Use the arrow buttons to
choose between menus and press SET to enter the desired menu. With
the arrow buttons you can change the settings. Press ENT to save set-
tings and exit the menu. If you are finished with all settings press ENT
for more than 3 seconds to exit the settings menu. The device will start
working with the new settings.
For details on the available functions please consult the chart below.
For changing time settings you can switch from Minutes to our Hours
by Pressing Set.

Dag-/nachtomschakeling:
De hygrostaat schakelt afhankelijk van de ingestelde tijd om tussen
dag- en nachtwerking en gebruikt de desbetreffende luchtvochtighei-
dinstellingen. F06 stelt de tijd vast voor de dagstart en F07 voor de
nachtstart. F06 moet kleiner zijn dan F07!
Bevochtigen/ontvochtigen:
Met F05 kan het apparaat worden overgeschakeld van de bevochtigings-
smodus naar de ontvochtigingsmodus. In de bevochtigingsmodus is het
apparaat in bedrijf totdat de ingestelde luchtvochtigheid is bereikt.
Daarna wordt het apparaat uitgeschakeld. In de ontvochtigingsmodus
wordt het apparaat ingeschakeld zodra de ingestelde luchtvochtigheid
wordt overschreden. Pas nadat de luchtvochtigheid weer lager is dan de
ingestelde waarde voor de luchtvochtigheid wordt het apparaat weer
uitgeschakeld. Gebruik deze functie bijv. voor het gebruik van venti-
latoren.
Alarmfuncties:
U kunt instellen of het apparaat u moet waarschuwen indien de lucht-
vochtigheid van de ingestelde luchtvochtigheidswaarden (dag en nacht)
afwijkt. De afwijking is van 0 tot 50 in te stellen. Bij 0 wordt deze
alarmfunctie gedeactiveerd. Verder geldt dat het cijfer staat voor de
afwijking, d.w.z. dat als u bijv. 5 kiest en een luchtvochtigheid van
75% heeft ingesteld, het alarm van dit apparaat u waarschuwt indien
de luchtvochtigheid onder de 70% zakt respectievelijk boven de 80%
stijgt. In het geval van een waarschuwing knippert het display en is een
alarmtoon hoorbaar.
Tijdschakelklok:
Het apparaat beschikt over een realtime-klok met tijdschakelklok. U
kunt telkens twee AAN en twee UIT tijden (precies op de minuut) instel-
len. Via de koppeling II kunt u apparatuur zoals verlichting tijdsturen.
Zet de desbetreffende functies (F08 tot F11) op 00:00 indien u de tijd-
schakelklok niet wilt gebruiken. Let er op dat de instellingen niet tegen-
strijdig zijn, dat bijv. de waarde van F10 tussen F08 en F09 ligt.
Werking:
De hygrostaat stuurt de verwarming aan totdat de ingestelde luchtvoch-
tigheid is bereikt, en schakelt dan zelf uit. Het apparaat wordt opnieuw
ingeschakeld zodra de ingestelde luchtvochtigheid lager is dan de onder
F03 ingestelde waarde.
Tonen en opvragen van de opgeslagen waarden:
Licht er een rood lichtje onder WORK op, dan is het aan te sturen ap-
paraat ingeschakeld. Indien bij SET een rood licht brandt, dan is het
apparaat op dat moment op de instelmodus. Drukt u de pijltjestoets in
de richting van omhoog wordt de ingestelde dagvochtigheid getoond.
Door de pijltjestoets in de richting van omlaag te drukken, wordt de
nachtvochtigheid getoond. Door de ENT-toets kort in te drukken, wordt
de actuele tijd getoond. De resterende waarden zijn alleen via de ap-
paraatinstellingen op te vragen.
Belangrijke informatie
• In het geval van uitval van de sensor klinkt een alarmtoon en wordt op
het display EEE getoond. Neem contact op met uw dealer!
• Bij het uitvallen van de stroom slaat het toestel de instellingen gedu-
rende 48 uren op.
• Brengt u geen wijzigingen aan aan het apparaat, en open de behuizing
niet!
• Controleer het apparaat en de sensorleidingen altijd op beschadigin-
gen. Bij vaststelling van een fout dient u het apparaat onmiddellijk bu-
iten gebruik te stellen. Dit geldt ook indien het apparaat met vloeistof
in aanraking is gekomen. Een controle en zonodig reparatie van het
apparaat moet door een gekwalificeerde vakman worden uitgevoerd!
• Vóór het gebruik van het apparaat dient altijd gecontroleerd te wor-
den of het apparaat principieel geschikt is waarvoor het gebruikt zal
worden!
• Bij twijfel is het inwinnen van informatie bij vakmensen, deskundigen
of de fabrikant van het gebruikte apparaat noodzakelijk!
• Om te voorkomen dat er dieren gewond raken of komen te overlijden,
is een regelmatige controle van de temperatuur noodzakelijk! De fa-
brikant kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor het uitvallen van
een regelaar!
Garantie
De garantie vervalt bij verandering en/of reparatiepogingen aan het
apparaat, evenals bij beschadiging door invloed van geweld of onjuist
gebruik van het product.
De fabrikant verleent voor dit apparaat een garantie van 2 jaar. De fab-
rikant houdt zich het recht voor te beslissen over reparatie, aanpassin-
gen, of ruilen voor een nieuw apparaat.
De fabrikant staat niet in en stelt zich niet aansprakelijk voor schade of
gevolgschade van dit product.
In het geval van garantie-eisen of reparaties neemt u contact op met
uw dealer.
