Intended use
The mini PC stick is a PC system to be connected to monitors with HDMI input ports. After connecting, the
monitor can be used as an entertainment center with Internet access. Use the product to play YouTube clips,
to download and use Android™ applications via Google Play, to watch videos and photos, or to simply surf
the Internet. The product allows for the connection of a mouse and keyboard (not provided) via USB port
and the use of a microSD / microSDHC card (max. 32 GB) or an external hard drive (max. 500 GB) (both not
included) for storage extension purposes.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and
keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• Keep the product away from electromagnetic sources of interference.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.

Connection
1. Connect the HDMI plug (4) to a free HDMI port of your monitor (e.g. TV).
2. Connect the micro USB plug of the USB Y cable to the power supply jack 5 V/DC (1) and both of the
USB B connectors to free USB ports on the monitor. If the USB ports on the monitor are not sufficient, an
external USB power supply is required (e.g. computer).
Connecting keyboard and mouse
It is recommended to connect a wireless keyboard and mouse set to the mini PC stick. In case of an external
keyboard not being available, the mini PC stick provides a virtual keyboard that is displayed on the monitor
and to be used via connected mouse. Connect a mouse to the USB port USB 1 (2). In order to enter umlauts,
press and hold the buttons on the keyboard. Basic mouse functions: Left: select, confirm. Right: back, up.

Switching on/off
1. Turn the power supply to the mini PC stick and the monitor on. The mini PC stick starts automatically.
The power indicator lamp (6) lights up. After complete startup, the monitor shows the home screen of
the mini PC stick.

2. In order to turn the mini PC stick off, click the icon (F) in the control bar (see menu description under "Menu
and menu bar" below). In order to turn the device on again, the power supply must be disconnected first.
Resetting the device
In case of errors or the mini PC stick not starting up, disconnect the mini PC stick and the connected cables
from the power supply for at least 10 seconds to reset the device. Reconnect the mini PC stick and the
cables and then start again.
Menu and menu bar
a) Menu bar
The below image of the status information display can vary depending on the connected
appliances and appliance settings.
The icons / options in the control bar feature the following functions:

b) Display applications
Click on the
icon in the upper right corner of the monitor in order to display the applications and widgets
installed. Each time click only once to open the applications or menu options.

Setting language, date and time
1. Use the Settings icon to open the settings menu. Navigate to Language & input  Language and
select your desired language.
2. Use the Settings icon to open the settings menu and navigate to Date & time.
- Automatic date & time: Date and clock time settings according to the network connection (if available).
- Set date (activate Automatic date & time): Select a date and confirm with [Done] or return to the previous
screen (A).
- Set time (deactivate Automatic date & time): Select 24-hour time format and click [Set] to confirm or
[Cancel] to cancel. The status information display will show the current time.
- Select time zone: Select the time zone as desired.
- Use 24-hour Format: Select 24-hour time format. If no option is selected, the 12-hour format will be
displayed.
- Choose date format: Select the date display format.
