Maintenance

NOTICE
Damage to device due to improper handling
The user is responsible for any damage caused by making repairs.
» Never take apart the device and the (optional) separation filter. In doing so, they may be dama-
ged. Inside the device and the separation filter there are no components that could be serviced
or repaired by the user. Exception: Removal of the battery compartment cover when replacing
the batteries.
» Maintenance work must only be performed by qualified and authorised BAUR personnel.

7.1 Replacing the batteries

1. Disconnect the device from all cables and network connections.
2. Switch off the device.
3. Loosen the 2 black screws and remove the battery compartment cover.
4. Replace the batteries with 4 x 1.5 V alkali batteries. When doing so, take note of the polarity.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover and screw in the 2 black screws.

7.2 Cleaning

Damage to device due to improper handling
» Do not use any alcohol, solvent or hydrocarbons.
» Ensure material compatibility.
» Do not spray any water directly on the device.
1. Disconnect the device from all power sources.
2. Switch off the device.
3. Lightly dampen a soft cloth with soapy water and wipe down the device.
4. Rinse the cloth in clean water and wring out the excess water.
5. Wipe the device over once more to remove all soap residues, then dry it with a dry cloth.
