3. Safety information
Should damage result from non-observance of these instruc-
tions, any guarantee claims will be void!

The product has sharp edges and projecting parts - risk of injury when touched.
The product does not belong in the hands of children!
Handle the MP-3 Player with care - it can be damaged by knocks, blows and falling
even from limited heights.
Maintenance or repair of the MP-3 Player must only be performed by a SPECIALIST
familiar with the associated dangers and the relevant regulations!
4. Installing/changing batteries
The battery compartment is under a cover on the side of the MP-3 Player. Two type
"AAA" batteries are to be installed there.
Pay attention to correct polarity when fitting the batteries; the polarity is given on the
underside of the MP-3 Player.
When you notice that for example higher volumes are no longer possible, the LCD
display is hard to read or no audio reproduction occurs, then the batteries should be
exchanged for new ones.
Environmental information!
The end user is bound by law (old battery regulation) to return all
used batteries and rechargeable cells; disposal with household
refuse is forbidden!
Used batteries and rechargeable cells can be returned free of
charge both to our subsidiaries or to our headquarters in Hir-
schau, Germany and to communal disposal centres (waste reco-
very yards) committed to returns.
Play also your part in protecting the environment!

7. Utilisation
a) Interrupteur à coulisse ON/OFF : Allumer/Eteindre
Poussez l'interrupteur ON/OFF sur le côté du Player MP3 sur la position "ON" res-
pectivement "OFF", pour allumer ou éteindre le Player MP3.
b) Touche Play, Pause, Stop
Ces touches fonctionnent comme sur des appareils audio habituels.
c) Touche Rew/Fwd
Une brève action sur ces touches et le Player saute au dernier ou au titre de musique
suivant, une action prolongée active la commande de rappel rapide arrière ou le
défilement rapide en avant pendant l'écoute d'un morceau de musique.
d) Touche Vol Down/Up
Vous ajusterez l'intensité sonore.
e) Touche Repeat/Repeat all
Appuyez cette touche pour répéter le morceau de musique que vous venez d'écou-
ter. Une action réitérée sur cette touche active la répétition de tous les morceaux de
musique se trouvant sur la carte mémoire.
Une nouvelle action désactive la fonction de répétition.
f) Touche Equalizer
A l'aide de la touche "Equalizer", vous pourrez commuter entre les modes d'effets
sonores préréglés "Normal", "Rock" , "Classic" et "Jazz".
g) Touche Random/Intro
Appuyez cette touche afin d'activer l'audition au hasard de tous les morceaux de
musique sur la carte mémoire. Une action réitérée sur cette touche active l'intro-play,
c'est à dire, de chaque morceau sur la carte mémoire seront joués les premières
secondes.
Une nouvelle action sur cette touche désactive la fonction Random/Intro.
h) Commutateur Lock/Unlock
Sur le côté du Player MP3 se trouve un petit interrupteur à coulisse. En position
"Lock" toutes les touches sont verrouillées. Cela est idéal, lorsque vous faites du
jogging et que vous mettez le Player MP3 dans la poche de votre chemise ou de vot-
re pantalon.
