Operating instructions
1. Place the fan heater on a firm, level surface.
2. Connect the mains lead to a 220–240 V~, 50 Hz power socket.
3. The fan heater has four operating modes:
- OFF: Off
- LO: 1200 W
- HI: 2000 W
- LO&OSC: 1200 W with oscillation
- HI&OSC: 2000 W with oscillation
4. Switch the fan heater off by setting the power switch to OFF.
Note: Always switch the fan heater off and unplug the mains lead from the wall socket
when it is not in use.
Setting the desired temperature
1. Turn the thermostat knob to the maximum setting.
2. Select a power setting (experiment to find the best setting for the location).
3. When the desired temperature has been reached, slowly turn the thermostat knob
back until it clicks and the fan heater switches off.
4. The fan heater will maintain the set temperature by automatically switching on
and off.
Note: Bear in mind that factors such as the size of the room, the outside temperature
and how well the building is insulated, all affect the ability of the heater to warm
the room up. If the room is too large the ability of the heater to warm it up to
the desired temperature may be insufficient.

Overheating protection

The fan heater is fitted with an overheating safety cut-off protection device which
switches the fan heater off if it overheats.
1. To reset the overheating protection device, unplug the fan heater and let it cool for
15–20 minutes.
2. Then plug the heater back into a wall socket. The heater should now work normally.
