11. Troubleshooting

If the appliance is operated properly you should experience no problems with malfunctions or faults. In the event
of any malfunctions or faults, please check the following before you contact your customer services.
Problem
No LED is lit and no output
voltage
Alarm sounds
No LED lit, fuse has blown
TV operation errors:
Interference
Errors in audio systems:
Audible humming, buzzing,
whirring

Cause and elimination
Detached cable
ON/OFF switch is OFF (0) - Switch to ON (I).
Battery voltage under 10 V - recharge the battery, check all cable
connections.
Voltage transformer is thermally overloaded - remove the 230 V consumer,
let the appliance cool off, wait 10 minutes, then switch the appliance back on;
check the consumer for raised electricity consumption.
Input voltage is too high - check input voltage and reduce it, if necessary.
Fuse triggered - check the vehicle fuses and fuses in the voltage transformer
and if necessary, replace the faulty fuse.
Battery voltage is falling and the red LED is lit - Switch OFF the voltage
transformer and remove the battery. Recharge the battery.
Incorrect polarity / Incorrect connection / Short circuit - Switch OFF the
voltage transformer and remove it from the battery; remove the 230 V
consumer; check all connections and if necessary correct these; finally plug
the voltage transformer back in.
Short circuit in 230 V consumer - Remove 230V consumer and do not plug it
back in.
No input voltage - check your car fuse and the fuse in the plug, and if
necessary, replace the defective fuses .
Position the voltage transformer as far away as possible from the TV set and
aerial cables; check the aerial connection and aerial settings; use a protected
aerial cable
Modified sine wave is insufficiently filtered by the connected TV set. TV set
cannot be connected
Modified sine wave is insufficiently filtered by the connected audio system.
Audio system cannot be connected
