TAKING YOUR FOOD OUT OF THE OVEN

WARNING: All parts in the heating compartment could be extremely hot and the
slightest touch may cause severe burns. Protect your hands with oven gloves in any
case, when working on the interior of the heating compartment during operation and
shortly thereafter. Use the provided handles to pull the grilling rack, baking pan, or
rotisserie spit out of the heating compartment.
Do not place any hot parts (e.g. food, baking pan, grilling rack) on surfaces sensi-
tive to heat, water and/or fat. Keep a suitable dish or mat at hand. When opening
the oven door, large amounts of hot steam and hot air may escape. Do not hold
your face, hands, or arms over the appliance, when opening the oven door after
operation.
4. Provide a suitable large, heat-resistant dish or mat and pull on oven gloves.
Keep sufficient distance to the oven and carefully open the oven door.
5. With your food on the grilling rack or baking pan, hook the tray handle onto
the rim of the rack / pan and pull the rack / pan out of the oven. For this, with
your hands protected with oven gloves, you should support the rack / pan with
the other hand to prevent it from tilting or slipping out of the handle.
6. With the rotisserie spit used, hook the spit handle on the grooves on both sides
of the rotisserie spit and carefully move the rotisserie spit to the left to pull it out
of the rotor drive. Then take out the rotisserie spit.
Tip: You can set-up and start the oven again immediately, if you wish to cook
another portion.
Note
You may hear the ventilation fan of the oven still operate. In this case, you should
wait, until the ventilation fan stops, before disconnecting the appliance from the
power supply. This will help to preserve an elongated working life of the electro-
nics. However, in any case, do not leave the appliance connected to the power
supply unnecessarily and unattendedly.
7. If you do not wish to use the oven again, ensure that the oven is switched off
(control panel is dark). If possible, wait until the ventilation fan of the oven stops
operation audibly. Unplug the appliance.
8. With the oven door open, leave the oven cool down (approx. 20 min). Always clean
the oven, crumb tray, and all used accessories after each use (see: 'Care and Clea-
ning'). Do not leave any residues of food carbonize on the surfaces, when using the
oven next time. Food may smoke and even catch fire when burned to charcoal.
