Assembly
The assembly and the installation of the device must be carried out by a specialist
who is familiar with the hazards and the relevant regulations.
location for your device, make sure to avoid vibration, dust, hot and cold temperatures
and dampness. Furthermore, keep the product away from strong transformers or mo-
tors.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
When installing the product ensure that the power supply unit's power cord is not
jammed or damaged by sharp edges.
During installation and service work, the area below the installation location must be
cordoned off.
The installation surface, or mounting fixture, must be designed so that it can withstand
10 times the loading capacity for at least 1 hour without permanent damaging defor-
mation.
It is also essential that the device is secured by means of a second safety restraint,
which is independent of the proper mounting supports, when the device is installed
in an elevated position. If the main supports fail, no part of the installation should be
able to fall down.
Observe all the relevant regulations when installing the device.
Installation acceptance:
Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including the
electrical connections) must be checked by a specialist.
An annual check by a technical expert is required.
At least every four years the device should be checked and approved by a specialist.
The laser is fastened to the mounting surface using the mounting bracket.
• For mounting, a screw is drilled into the mounting surface, the head of which protrudes a few
millimetres from the surface.
• The laser is then suspended from this screw head using the corresponding hole at the bottom of
the mounting bracket.
• Make sure that the device cannot swing freely when installing it.
• Secure the device with mounting material that is compatible with the fastening surface and
suitable for carrying the weight of the laser.
• When mounting in an elevated location, secure the laser with an additional suitable safety re-
straint cable or safety net. The safety restraint cable or net must be able to support the light
effect device in the event of a fault in the main support system.
• After fastening the device, adjust the desired inclination angle.
Connecting the power adapter
• Plug the enclosed power adapter's low-voltage plug into the low voltage connection (5) of the
• Plug the power adapter into a wall socket.

The mains socket to which the transformer is connected must be easily accessible,
thus in the event that a fault occurs, the device can be disconnected from the mains
voltage quickly.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connectors. Mains voltage may
cause fatal electric shocks.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and professional way to
prevent accidents.
