Intended use

The laser is intended for generating laser lighting effects and is operated with the inbuilt controller.
This product may only be operatedwith the enclosed power supply unit.
The safety regulations and standards for laser operation must be complied with at all times.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Contact
with moisture, for example in bathrooms or the like, must be avoided.
Any other use than that described above is not permitted and involves additional risks, such as
injuries to the eyes, short circuits, fire etc.
No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt, and the housing must not be opened.
This product complies with the applicable National and European legal requirements. All names of
companies and products are the trademarks of the respective owners. All rights reserved.
Warning, this product includes a powerful laser. If the safety instructions are not ob-
served, there is a high risk of injury.
Read the operating instructions in full before assembling and starting to use the laser
and observe all the safety instructions included here without fail.
The user must comply with the relevant national accident prevention regulations for
electrical equipment.
This product may only be assembled, commissioned and operated by suitably quali-
fied professionals and only in compliance with the requirements stated in this operat-
ing manual.
Due to the high laser power and the related injury risk, this laser is only permitted for
professional use.
Operation in the private domain is not permitted!
• Before the product is first put into operation, the company must notify the respon-
sible accident insurer and the public authority responsible for occupational health
and safety (generally the industrial inspectorate) and name a person who will be
accountable for laser safety.

Explanation of symbols

This symbol on the device indicates that the user should read these operating instruc-
tions prior to putting the device into operation and follow the instructions when using
the product.
The symbol with the house is used to inform the user that the device may only be oper-
ated in enclosed rooms.

Safety instructions

Firstly, carefully read the entire operating instructions, as they contain important in-
formation for proper operation.
Damages due to failure to follow these operating instructions will void the warranty!
We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
We do not assume any liability for personal injuries and material damages caused by
the improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases, the
warranty will be null and void!
• Adjustments or maintenance work should only be carried out by trained profession-
als who are aware of the dangers. Improperly executed adjustments might result in
dangerous laser radiation.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product
is not permitted.
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is di-
rected such that there is nobody in the projection area and that unintentionally re-
flected beams (e.g. from mirrors) cannot reach areas where people are present.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous if the laser beam or its reflection enters unprotect-
ed eyes. Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with the
statutory regulations and safety instructions for operating such a laser device.
• Never look directly into the laser pointer and never aim the laser at another person
or animals. Laser radiation may result in injuries to the eyes or skin.
• Do not look into the laser beam with optical instruments (e.g. magnifying glasses
or binoculars) under any circumstances. This will increase the risk of eye injuries
drastically.
• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The uncontrolled,
reflected beam may strike people or animals.
• Never allow the laser to operate unattended.
• Limit the beam path as much as possible by using screens or dividing walls.
• Mark the laser area using barriers or warning signs.
• Direct the laser beam in a way that it is not at eye level.
• Caution: If operation settings or procedures other than those described here in these
instructions are used, it could result in exposure to dangerous radiation.
• This product is equipped with a Class 3R Laser. Laser signs in different languages are
included in the package. If the sign on the laser is not written in the language of your
country, please affix the appropriate sign onto the laser.

• Never look directly into the laser light source when the device is in operation. The
intense light rays could temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger
epileptic seizures in vulnerable persons. This applies in particular to epileptics.
• The device contains no parts that are to be serviced by the user. Therefore, do not
open the device.
• Only use the supplied mains adapter as a power supply.
• Connect the mains adapter only to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply network. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage
indicated on the power adapter matches the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Mains adapters must never be plugged in or disconnected with wet hands.
• Never unplug the power unit from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always
use the provided handles which are intended specifically for this purpose.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.
• The device is not a toy. Children and adolescents cannot judge the dangers of elec-
trical devices and lasers.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything
for children.
• Inspect the laser unit for damage from time to time. Should the laser unit or the pow-
er supply unit show any damage, disconnect them from the power supply (unplug
the power supply unit). Do not use the product after that and take it to a specialist
workshop instead.
• Never pour liquids over electrical appliances and never leave objects filled with liq-
uids (e.g. vases) in the vicinity of the device. You run the high risk of causing a fire or
a fatal electric shock. If liquids enter the device, immediately disconnect it from the
power supply, unplug the power supply unit from the mains and consult an expert.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spray water, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
