Digital Picture Frame

Intended Use
The product is intended to display digital pictures (jpg format). To display the pictures, there is a
USB connection (for USB memory stick) and a slot for a SD/MMC/MS memory card.
The device is operated either via the control keys on the device or by the IR remote control pro-
vided.
The power is supplied by the power supply unit provided.
This product complies with the applicable National and European requirements. All names of
companies and products are the trademarks of the respective owner. All rights reserved.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not open/disassemble it!
Contains no customer-serviceable parts.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. This prod-
uct contains small parts, glass (display) and a battery (IR remote control).
• The product should only be used in dry indoor areas, it must not become damp or
wet. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• The product is only suitable for use in temperate, not tropical, climates.
• The design of the mains transformer complies with protection class II. As the volt-
age source, only a standard power socket (230V~, 50Hz) connected to the pub-
lic grid may be used.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or acciden-
tal drops, even from a low height.
Battery notes
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by chil-
dren or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable
protective gloves.
• Batteries must never be short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into a fire. There is a risk of
explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• If the watch is not to be used for a longer period (e.g. storage), remove the battery. If batteries
are too old, they may leak and cause damage to the product, which will lead to the loss of the
warranty/guarantee!
Inserting the Battery into the IR Remote Control
There might be a plastic protective strip, which protects the battery from early dis-
charge. Simply pull out the protective strip.
It is necessary to change the battery when the IR range reduces or the picture frame no longer
reacts to the IR remote control.
The drawer for the battery is on the lower edge of the IR remote control. Unlock it and insert a
battery, of type CR2025, pay attention to the correct polarity; see symbol on the drawer. Insert
the drawer correctly in the IR remote control, so it latches.
Attach the Supporting Base
The supporting base provided can be attached to the appropriately shaped notch on the rear.
If you only want to display pictures in portrait format, the supporting base can be attached so that
the picture frame stands upright.
Start-up
• Connect the circular plug from the power supply unit to the corresponding jack on the side of
the picture frame.
• Plug the mains adapter into a mains socket (230V~/50Hz).
• Connect a data carrier (USB stick or SD/MMC/MS memory card) to the corresponding jack, on
the right side of the picture frame, paying attention to the correct orientation.
• Turn the picture frame on, using the key "
• Directly after turning on the device, the slide show of all the pictures on the USB stick or mem-
ory card should start.

Operation

You will not find the same control keys on the picture frame, as on the IR remote
control. Thus, some of the functions can only be used via the IR remote control.
We recommend using the IR remote control to operate the picture frame, since this
makes the operation much more simple.
a) IR remote control
• Key "
": On/off switch for the picture frame
• Key "SETUP": Select/exit Settings Menu
• Key "EXIT": Exit the settings menu or end the function
• "ZOOM" button: Enlarge the picture; only possible when no automatic slide show is running
• Button "ROTATE": Rotate the picture; only possible when no automatic slide show is running
• Key "SLIDESHOW": Start automatic slide show (exit with key "EXIT")
• Control keys "G", "D", "S", "F" for control or selection in menus, for the selection of pictures
or similar.
• Button "ENTER": Confirm function or setting
b) Buttons on the rear of the picture frame
• Key "
": On/off switch for the picture frame
• Control cross "G", "D", "S", "F" for control or selection in menus, for the selection of pictures
or similar.
• Briefly press the "OK" button: Confirm function or setting
• Long press of the "OK" button: Exit the setting menu or end the function; skip back to the pre-
vious menu

" briefly: If images are displayed: Start/stop slide show
• Long press of the "
" button: Select/exit setting menu (only possibly if the slide show has
beenstopped, to do so, press the button briefly)
Select Data Medium
• First, stop the slide show by pressing the "EXIT" key (or by pressing longer on the "OK" key on
the rear of the picture frame).
• Press the "EXIT" button again (or longer on the "OK" key on the rear of the picture frame), to
go to the selection of the 3 main functions (slide show, manual image display and calendar).
• Press the "EXIT" key again (or press the "OK" button longer on the rear of the picture frame).
Now four different memory types will be displayed:
"Built-In" (= internal memory)
USB (= USB stick)
SD/MMC (= SD/MMC memory card)
MS (= MS memory card)
• Select the desired memory type using the buttons "G" or "D" respectively, and press the
"ENTER" key (or briefly press the "OK" button on the rear of the picture frame).
Before you can select the USB stick or a memory card, the USB stick or the memory card, of
course, must be inserted in the picture frame.
The picture frame now uses the currently activated memory type for all further func-
tions.
• Following this, you can select between the automatic slide show, the manual image display
and the calendar display using the keys "G" or "D", confirm the selection with the button
"ENTER" (or briefly press the "OK" key on the rear of the picture frame).
