CLEANING THE OUTSIDE

We recommend that periodically you clean the body of the central vacuum unit with a damp cloth
and neutral soap, allowing it to dry completely before starting the system again. Do not use solvents,
alcohol or any chemical product when cleaning the unit's body.

8. THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE CENTRAL VACUUM UNIT AND THE

REMOTE DIGITAL DISPLAY

The remote display console with which the VAC DIGITAL model is supplied, provides the possibility
to monitor the condition and working of the central vacuum whilst it is in use. By installing the display
console on your kitchen wall or some other convenient location you can view the working parameters
of your central vacuum unit. You just need to connect three cables as explained below.

9. FIXING THE CENTRAL VACUUM UNIT TO THE WALL

All SACH central vacuums come supplied with a wall bracket comprising two
interlocking pieces, one attached to the rear of the machine, the other to be
attached to the wall onto which is slotted the other part of the bracket. The
central unit should be fixed permanently to the wall by means of this bracket.
The central vacuum unit should be installed in a well-aired location providing
easy access, far away from any heat source. Similarly, it should be located close
to an electrical supply point. It should be placed at a height of approximately
0.60m from the floor which will allow for the emptying of the bin.
It is advisable to leave a space on either side of the unit to permit easy handling
of the unit.
Wherever possible the central vacuum should always be located on a
supporting wall or a concrete wall to avoid vibrations. Once the location has
been chosen, fix the bracket to the wall and hang the central vacuum unit
onto the bracket.

red, black and white cables from

and you will be able to view the
condition and working of the
central vacuum unit.
