    4. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG Das Produkt dient zum Messen und Anzeigen der Leistungsaufnahme elektrisch betriebener Geräte. Das Produkt wird zwischen Steckdose und elektrischem Verbraucher gesteckt und benötigt keinen weiteren Installationsaufwand. Der Betrieb ist nur an einer haushaltsüblichen Schutzkontakt-Netzsteckdose zulässig. Die max. zulässige Nennleistung des angeschlosse- nen Verbrauchers darf nicht überschritten werden (siehe Kapitel „Technische Daten“).

    7. INBETRIEBNAHME Im Energiekostenmessgerät ist ein Akku eingebaut, der dazu dient, dass das Messgerät bedient/programmiert werden kann, ohne dass es in einer Netzsteckdose eingesteckt ist. Bei Lieferung/Erstinbetriebnahme ist dieser Akku normalerweise leer. Der vollständige Ladevorgang kann einige Stunden dauern. Eine Bedienung/Programmierung des Energiekostenmessgeräts ist bei der Erstinbetrieb- nahme also nur dann möglich, während es direkt in eine Netzsteckdose eingesteckt ist.

    c) Uhrzeit einstellen • Wie schon in Abschnitt b) beschrieben, halten Sie die Taste „SET“ (1) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, um den Einstellmodus zu starten. Oben links im Display wird „ “ angezeigt und in der oberen Anzeigezeile erscheint „24Hr“ (oder „12Hr“) für den aktuell eingestellten Anzeigemodus der Uhrzeit.

Haben Sie bei Ihrem Energieversorger nur einen einzigen Stromtarif, so geben Sie für beide Stromtarife („TARIFF 1“ und „TARIFF 2“) den gleichen Preis ein. Die Startzeit ist dabei ohne Belang, da die Stromkosten gleich sind.

Nach Bestätigung der letzten Eingabeposition blinken die Stunden der Startzeit für den Stromtarif 2 (beispielsweise Nachtstrom).

    e) Einstellung für GHG/CO -Emission Hier können Sie die CO -Emission pro kWh eingeben. Den jeweils für Ihren Stromtarif gelten- den Wert (beispielsweise 0,480 kg/kWh) erfahren Sie auf der Internetseite Ihres Stromanbie- ters oder evtl. auch aus den Vertragsunterlagen zu Ihrem Stromtarif. Unser Tipp: Wenn Sie einen Stromtarif mit 100% Ökostrom haben, ist die Eingabe von 0,000 kg /kWh natürlich wenig sinnvoll.

    f) Alarm bei Überlast Das Messgerät gibt bei Überschreiten des eines einstellbaren Grenzwerts alle 10 Sekunden einen Alarmton aus und im Display blinkt „OVERLOAD“. Soll der Alarmton beendet werden, so drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste. Die Anzeige „OVERLOAD“ blinkt jedoch weiter. Diese Funktion kann nicht nur zum Schutz des Messgeräts oder des angeschlossenen Verbrauchers verwendet werden, sondern auch zur Signalisierung, wann der Verbrau- cher im normalen Betrieb den vorgegebenen Grenzwert überschreitet.

    f) Alarm for overloading If a set limit value is exceeded, the measuring device will sound an alarm every 10 seconds and “OVERLOAD” will flash in the display. Press any button to stop the alarm. However, the “OVERLOAD” display will continue to flash. This function cannot only be used for protection of the measuring device or a connected load but also to signal when the load has exceeded the set limit value during operation.
