Use the TIMER button to set the time after which the dehumidifier
turns off. In standby mode the timer determines the duration after
which the appliance turns on. Times of 1 to 24 hours can be chosen.
Briefly press the TIMER button to display the time remaining on the
timer (in hours).
TIMER
The TIMER LED turns green as soon as a switch on/off time has been
chosen. The TIMER LED turns off after the set time has elapsed or
when the user turns off the dehumidifier.
The LED display shows the current humidity when the appliance is
dehumidifying. When setting a switch on/off time (timer) or switch-off
humidity, the LED display shows the corresponding values to be set.
For humidities under 35% RH or over 95% RH, LO or HI are displayed
correspondingly.
HUMIDITY SETTING button
Use the HUMIDITY SETTING button to set the humidity at which the
dehumidifier turns off. The switch-off humidity can be set from 50-
80% in increments of 10%. The CO (continuous dehumidification) and
AU (comfort mode) operating modes can also be chosen. The set
value and the operating mode are shown on the LED display.
When the set humidity is reached, the dehumidifier stops the
dehumidifying process and only turns back on when the relative
humidity in the room rises above the set value. The green OPERATION
LED stays on as the fan continues to run.
SPEED button
The SPEED button toggles the fan speed.
The LOW LED indicates the low fan speed; the HI LED indicates the
high fan speed.

Operation

a) Installation location
• Place the dehumidifier on a flat, secure and water-resistant surface. Water can
damage furniture and flooring and cause a fire or an electric shock. Ensure that the
appliance is placed in a secure position so that it cannot fall over.
• Place the dehumidifier at a sufficient distance (about 50 cm) from adjacent walls,
furniture etc.
Close the windows and doors in the room containing the dehumidifier to
assist the dehumidifying process.
• Use the carrying handles (2) on both sides and the transport wheels (5) to move the
dehumidifier.
• Press the POWER button to turn the dehumidifier off before moving the dehumidifier
or putting it away. Disconnect the mains plug from the power socket. Remove the
water tank (7) before moving the appliance.
b) Turning on/off
• Insert the mains plug into a power socket. The dehumidifier is now ready to use.
• Press the POWER button to turn on the dehumidifier. The dehumidifier emits a short
beep sound. The OPERATION LED turns green. The relative humidity of the room is
shown on the LED display.
• Press the POWER button to turn off the dehumidifier.
Never turn the dehumidifier off by simply removing the power cable from the
mains.
Wait for about 3 minutes after turning the dehumidifier off before turning it
back on to avoid damage to the compressor.
c) Settings
• Set the desired humidity using the HUMIDITY SETTING button. The compressor turns
on as soon the humidity in the room is about 3% higher than the preset threshold
value. The compressor turns off when the humidity is 3% under the preset value.
• You can select the CO setting (continuous dehumidification) using the HUMIDITY
SETTING button to make the dehumidifier constantly dehumidify the room. This is
the default setting when the appliance is used for the first time.
• Select the AU setting (comfort mode) using the HUMIDITY SETTING button. A
humidity threshold of 60% is set for an ambient temperature of 5 °C to 20 °C. This
automatic control value is 55% for a temperature range of 20 °C to 27 °C and 50%
for a temperature of over 27 °C. The compressor turns off automatically when the
temperature is lower than 5 °C.
d) Emptying the water tank
• The TANK FULL LED turns on when the water tank (8) is full. The dehumidifying
process is automatically stopped.
• Pull the water tank out of the housing from behind, empty it and insert it back into
the device.
Do not remove the tank when the dehumidifier is on or if it has just turned
off, as some water may still discharge into the tank. This water may then run
onto your floor if the tank is not in the appliance.
e) Continued use
• Follow the steps below if you wish to install a continuous water drain.
• Turn off the dehumidifier and disconnect the mains plug from the power socket.
• Remove the water tank (8).
• Connect a suitable discharge hose (not included) to the condensation drain (7).
Secure it with a suitable hose clamp if necessary (not included).
