intended Use
The watch winder is for agitating mechanical automatic watches and thereby wind-
ing them.
It must only be used with the power transformer included in delivery.
The power adapter is only suitable for use at a common household socket of the
national grid.
Use of the watch winder and of the power adapter is only allowed in closed indoor
location, i.e. not outside. Contact with moisture, for example in bathrooms or the
like, must be avoided.
Any use other than the one described above could lead to damage to this product
and present a hazard of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the
product is not permitted.

The included power adapter is compliant with protection class II.

Unplug the power adapter from the mains socket in order to fully disconnect the
watch winder from the mains supply.

Never replace a defective connecting cable. If the connecting cable is damaged,
the power adapter is waste and must be disposed of. Repairs are not acceptable.

Keep devices which run on mains voltage out of the reach of children. Therefore
take precaution when using the device when children are around, especially, if
they attempt to push objects through the openings of the enclosure into the
device. There is a life-threatening electric shock hazard.

This product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. Use the
product only out of the reach of children; the product contains parts that can be
swallowed as well as a battery.

Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. They may become a
dangerous plaything for children.

Check device and power adapter from time to time for damage. Do not touch
the power supply, the watch winder or the connecting cable if they show visible
signs of damage. Switch off the appropriate mains socket (e.g. the respective
circuit-breaker and the RCD) and then carefully unplug the power adapter from
the mains socket. Do not use the product after that and take it to a specialist
workshop instead.

Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spray water, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.

Do not use the device in tropical climate.

Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or next to the power sup-
ply or watch winder.

Do not place vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets,
vases or plants, on the device or in the close proximity of the device. Liquids may
seep into the casing and thus impair the electrical safety of the device. Further-
more, there is a significant risk of fire or of a lethal electric shock! If this is the
case, de-energise the appropriate mains socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker
and RCD) and then remove the mains plug from the mains socket. The product
must no longer be used after that; take it to a specialist workshop.

notes on Primary and secondary batteries

Non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries do not belong in the hands of children.

Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; there is a risk of
them being swallowed by children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately.

Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries in contact with the skin
can cause acid burns; therefore, use suitable safety gloves.

Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown
into fire. There is a risk of explosion!

Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries; risk of explosion! Only re-
charge rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable
battery charger.

Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries (pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
