e) Setting the Counterpressure Spring

The counterpressure spring services to apply a slight pressure on the saw
blade, so that the tooth to be ground is applied to the grinding disc.
During grinding, the counterpressure spring thus will apply an even pressure
on all teeth.
Do not adjust the spring too strongly, since this would cause the saw blade
tooth to be pushed against the grinding disc too hard.
When the fastening screw (16) is tightened too much, the saw blade cannot
move.
An adjustment of the holding arm (10) permits changing the position of the counterpressure spring. For this, loosen
the screw (9) and set the holding arm (10). Then tighten the screw (9) again.
When the counterpressure of the spring is to be increased or reduced, the holding rod for the counterpressure spring
can be twisted. For this, first loosen the attachment screw (11). Then the holding rod can be twisted with the counter-
pressure spring on it. Last tighten the attachment screw (11) again.
