24. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Check that the mains voltage
and the type of electrical current matches the information
provided on the type plate on the appliance before connecting it
to the mains power supply.
25. Regularly check the device, mains plug and the mains cable
for damage.
26. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not use the appliance if it
displays any signs of damage or if the appliance has fallen onto
the floor or may have been otherwise damaged.
27. If the mains cable is damaged or severed while working, do
not touch the cable but instead immediately disconnect the mains
plug. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric
shock.
28. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! If the connection cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer
service agent or another suitably qualified person. This is to avoid
hazards.
29. Please contact customer services if the appliance
malfunctions or there are any signs of damage.
30. To avoid any dangerous situations arising, a faulty appliance
may only be repaired by the manufacturer, its customer service
department or a similarly qualified person.
31. Plug the mains plug into an easily accessible mains socket so
that you can quickly disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply in the event of an emergency. Disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket to switch off the appliance completely. Use
the mains plug as a cut-off device that should be easily
accessible at all times. The appliance receives power as soon as
it is connected to the mains electricity network.
32. Always keep the mains cable away from the sphere of activity
of the appliance and guide it backwards away from the appliance.
33. Do not use the mains cable for any other purpose, for
example, to carry or hang up the appliance or to pull the plug out
