Start-Up
Automatic Operation
The DMX Power Pack has an integrated controller for the device to address the loads independently from external
controllers.
•
Switch the DIP switches 1-9 to "OFF".
•
Use the DIP switch 10 to the desired automatic operating mode.

Operation
After all connections and settings are made, the device ready for operation.
•
Switch the device on with the CIRCUIT BREAKER (put switch into ON position).
•
Select the brightness of the connected spotlight with your controller.
•
The 4LEDs under the output socket show the operating states of the different channels.
In 1 channel operation, all spotlights are controlled by a DMX channel. In 4 channel operation, each spotlight has
its own channel to control it.
When a DMX controller and an analogue controller are both connected, the Power Pack reacts to the
strongest signal.
Handling
•
Never connect the power plug immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a warm environment.
The resulting condensation could destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature before
connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has evaporated.
•
Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
•
Never pull on the power cable. Only unplug it by pulling on the intended surfaces of the plug.
•
Unplug the power supply if you do not use the device over an extended period of time.
•
For safety reasons, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in case of a thunderstorm.
•
Do not cover the device to ensure sufficient ventilation. In addition, air circulation must not be obstructed by any
objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains etc. During operation, keep a minimum distance of 50 cm
around the device.
