INSTALLATION
Due to the extreme heat, the device should only be installed on the wall or ceiling and out of the reach of
persons.
Procedure:
Step 1: On the baseplate, there are 4 holes for the installation.
Step 2: Hold the baseplate onto the location where the device is to be installed.
Step 3: Mark the boreholes with a pen or a suitable tool.
Step 4: Drill the holes.
Step 5: Hold the baseplate in the desired position and tighten it with four 5 x 30 mm screws.
This device falls under protection-class I. Therefore it is essential that the yellow/green conductor gets
connected to earth.The electric connection must be carried out by a qualified employee.
In general, lighting effects should not be connected to dimming-packs.
OPERATION
Connect the effect to the mains. The lamp begins to burn and the ball starts rotating.
REPLACING THE LAMP
During the operation, studio lamps reach temperatures of up to 200° C.
Before replacing the lamp, unplug mains lead and let the lamp cool down (approx. 5 minutes).
Do only replace the lamps with 230 V/300 W G-6,35 lamps.
Please refer to the instructions under "Installation of the lamp".
Procedure:
Step 1: Unscrew the 2 screws of the ball.
Step 2: Remove the upper part of the ball.
Step 3: Remove the old lamp from the lamp-socket.
Step 4: Put the new 230 V/300 W G-6,35 lamp into the lampholder.
Step 5: Replace the ball and tighten the screws.
REPLACING THE FUSE
If the lamp burns out, the fine-wire fuse of the B-19 might fuse, too. Only replace the fuse by a fuse of same
type and rating (F 2,5 A medium).
